1) Selection / Selection Criteria
The consortium is aware of the effort and time all applicants will have invested in completing the application. However, please note that it is a very highly competitive application and selection process. For the verification, evaluation and selection of the submitted applications, the committee will follow the selection criteria as laid down by the consortium:
- relevant bachelor degree*
- transcript of records or equivalent document
- motivation
- recommendation letter(s)
*Students in their last semester of undergraduate studies can apply for admission if there is a high probability that they will obtain the degree prior to the start of the programme. Such students can be selected for admission to the programme only conditionally. If the degree is not obtained before the start of the programme, the next candidate on the selection list moves up.
2) Admission
The selection for the International Graduate Study Programme in Cultural Sociology is not an automatic admission to the respective entrance university.
When you have received a positive result, you will then be informed by your contact person(s) at the entrance university about the admission procedure.
Please note that this offer of a place in the Master's Programme is contingent on you fulfilling the requirements for admission to your entrance university!
Please also note that at this point you will have to provide originals and/or certified documents!
